What VoxAlarm does with information on your device, in plain terms, before the section-by-section detail.
VoxAlarm does not require or ask for an account, an email address, a name, or any other way to identify you. We — Sagevault — do not operate any server that VoxAlarm talks to, so there is nothing for us to collect: no sign-up, no login, no analytics pipeline of our own, no profile built about you.
The alarms you create — their times, repeat settings, spoken descriptions, and your chosen app theme — are saved locally on your phone using Android's standard app storage. This data:
When VoxAlarm reads an alarm's description aloud, that text is passed to the text-to-speech engine already built into your Android device. It is processed on-device and is not sent to Sagevault or to any third party.
VoxAlarm shows banner ads through Google AdMob to support keeping the app free. AdMob may collect an advertising identifier, device information, and general usage signals in order to show and measure ads — this collection is done by Google, under Google's own privacy practices, not Sagevault's.
| Who | What they may collect | Your controls |
|---|---|---|
| Google AdMob | Advertising ID, device & app info, approximate location, interaction with ads | Android Settings → Privacy → Ads, or Google's Ad Settings |

| Permission | Why VoxAlarm asks for it |
|---|---|
| Notifications | To show the alarm notification and its full-screen ringing screen when it goes off. |
| Schedule exact alarm | So your alarm rings at exactly the time you set — not a few minutes early or late. |
VoxAlarm does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or location.
The "Support this app" option in Settings opens an external donation page (Buy Me a Coffee) in your browser. That page is operated independently of Sagevault and has its own privacy policy — we don't receive any information about what you do there beyond whether you chose to open the link.
VoxAlarm is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone in that age group. Since VoxAlarm collects no personal information directly in the first place, this is naturally the case — but AdMob's own age-appropriate ad policies also apply.
Because everything VoxAlarm stores lives only on your device, you're always in control of it. Delete an alarm in the app to remove it immediately, or uninstall VoxAlarm to remove all locally stored data at once. There is no account or server-side copy for us to delete on your behalf, because none exists.
If this policy changes, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page. We recommend checking back occasionally if you'd like to stay current, particularly around changes to how advertising is handled.
